Connect your bag before you can unlock or alert it
1Bring the bag to you.Your bag talks to this page over Bluetooth, so it has to be in the same room. Nothing here works from a distance.
2Wake it up.Press a finger on the fingerprint panel. The lock sleeps to save battery and will not appear until you do this.
3Press Connect bag.Pick your bag from the list your browser shows. Unlock and Alert switch on once it is connected.
Only one device can hold the bag at a time, so close the Rachel Bloom app on your phone first if it is connected there. Bluetooth control needs Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android phone. It does not work in Safari or on iPhone and iPad, where you will need the app instead.

Locate any bag with GPS, from anywhere
No Bluetooth needed. Bags with GPS report their position over the cellular network, so you can find them from anywhere with an internet connection, whether the bag is across the room or across the country.

Click "Load History" to fetch location data
If your bag has been stolen. Open the location, press Share to send a live link, and give that link to the police along with your order number. Check Location History to show where the bag has travelled since you last had it. Do not go to the location yourself.
Why is there no Unlock or Alarm here? Those work over a direct Bluetooth connection, so the bag must be with you. They appear on the My Bags page once you connect. GPS tracking is the part that works at a distance.
Position not updating? The bag reports on a schedule rather than constantly, to protect battery life. If the battery is flat or the bag is somewhere with no cellular signal, the last known position is the most recent one it managed to send.

Mobile App Required
Fingerprint scanning requires a direct Bluetooth connection to your bag, which is only possible through the Rachel Bloom mobile app. Download the app to add, remove, or manage fingerprints on your bag. Up to 25 unique fingerprints can be stored per bag.
